Note: Please email passport names, passport numbers, and date of birth to local partner for reservating tickets after completing tour booking, then provide your email address ,cell phone number and whatsapp number, then local partner will send site ticket QR code to client accordingly. Visitors can take Metro Line 5 and get off at Exit “A” of the “TIAN TAN DONG MEN” station, which is the east gate of the Temple of Heaven, and then walk for 1 minute to the east gate of the Temple of Heaven, after which they can scan the QR code(from the local supplier, not the getyourguide tickets code) of the admission ticket (provided by the local partner) at the entrance to enter the attraction. The Temple of Heaven is the largest, most famous and representative masterpiece of ancient Chinese sacrificial architecture, built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. The emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties offered prayers to heaven and prayed for a good harvest here. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese architecture and a true reflection of ancient oriental civilization, and has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
