Description
Embark on a scenic hike along the Shentangyu Plank Road, a popular wooden trail on the outskirts of Beijing. Stretching 7,558 meters along the Yanqi River, this trail is perfect for water activities, hiking, and family outings. Choose from three recommended routes to suit your preferences. Opt for the Family Leisure Route, a 2-kilometer path ideal for families with kids, featuring shallow beaches for playing in the water and catching small fish. Alternatively, take the Scenic Highlights Route, a 4-5 kilometer path showcasing the most concentrated scenery, including a photo-worthy cave and views of the ancient Great Wall. For a more challenging experience, tackle the Full Challenge Route, covering all 24 scenic spots along the 7.5-kilometer trail. Along the way, enjoy can’t-miss attractions like the Shentang Willow Embankment, the best shallow water area for kids to play and catch fish, and the Chuangu Overlook, offering panoramic views of the river valley. Explore the Jiuqu Tingqin Cave, a 100-meter-long cave with stunning light and shadow effects, and visit Guandi Village, a site of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall with distant views of the wall.Includes
