Description
Start with pickup at Dong Zhi Men subway station, followed by a roughly 2-hour drive to Jinshanling Great Wall.
Enter the wall from the east gate and hike westward for 6-7 kilometers, which takes around 3-4 hours. The route lets you appreciate the wall’s landscape and sunset. Each tower is labeled in English for easy navigation.
Descend from the middle gate after sunset and return to Beijing, arriving between 20:00 and 22:00 depending on the season.
