  • Advance Booking: Forbidden City tickets are released seven days in advance. We secure your tickets as early as possible to guarantee entry.
  • Passport Accuracy: Tickets are booked using your exact passport details. Any mismatch may result in denied entry.
  • Digital Confirmation: You will receive confirmation via email, platform messages, and WhatsApp. No physical tickets are needed; entry is linked to your passport.
  • Prohibited Items: Tripods, selfie sticks over 1.3 meters, alcohol, drones, knives, and lighters are not allowed.
  • Security Delays: Expect long waits at Tiananmen Square security checkpoints, often exceeding one hour. To avoid delays, consider options excluding Tiananmen Square.
  • Site Maintenance: Some halls in the Forbidden City may be closed for routine maintenance.
  • Regional IDs: Visitors from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan must provide their name in Chinese characters and the Mainland Travel Permit ID number.

  • Booking with a Chinese passport or ID card is not accepted.
  • Incorrect passport details will cause denied entry.
  • Confirmations are sent 5–6 days before your visit. Check your email, GYG message, or WhatsApp and contact us if not received.
  • Forbidden City entry time slots:
    Morning: 08:30–12:00
    Afternoon: 11:00–16:00 (November to March: 11:00–15:30). Entry may occur anytime within your booked slot.
  • Security lines at Tiananmen Square often exceed one hour. Arrive early to avoid missing your Forbidden City entry time if visiting both sites.
  • Admission to Tiananmen Square is free but requires reservations at least one day in advance. The 'Tiananmen Square Reservation Only' option covers this reservation service without a ticket fee.
