Description

Meet your guide at a designated spot in Beijing and board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. As you travel, listen to your guide share insights into the history of the Great Wall and the Ming Dynasty’s frontier defense system. Upon arrival at the Badaling Great Wall, your guide will assist with entry, allowing you to skip the ticket line. Choose between two routes to explore the wall: the classic hike or the easy cable-car route. If you choose the classic hike, follow your guide from the North 1st Tower to the Hero Stele at the North 4th Tower, and then to the North 8th Tower, known as Hero Slope, at an elevation of 888 meters. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, take the cable car to the South Line for panoramic views. After your exploration, enjoy a group photo session and free time to take pictures. Then, head to a local homestay at the foot of the Great Wall for a traditional lunch. After lunch, enjoy some free time to stroll through nearby mountainside villages and take in the natural scenery. Finally, board the coach for the return trip to Beijing, where your guide will be available to answer any questions and provide recommendations for other cultural sites in the city.
