Description
Experience the art of Chinese calligraphy in Beijing with a welcoming workshop led by Ms. Cao Yuan, a bilingual master with over 30 years of expertise. Begin with an introduction to the history and tools of calligraphy, learning the meaning behind the character “Fu” and the cultural significance of Chinese names.
Practice the essential brushstrokes under Ms. Cao’s personal guidance, gaining confidence as you master the basics. The highlight of your visit is creating your own calligraphy piece: choose to write the “Fu” character, symbolizing good fortune, or your own name in Chinese. Ms. Cao will support you step by step to ensure your finished work is both neat and meaningful.
Wrap up your experience by carefully drying and packing your artwork in a special storage bag to take home.
