Begin with pickup from your centrally located Beijing hotel. Travel comfortably by private vehicle to the Forbidden City, where your visit goes beyond a simple walk through the main courtyards. Inside the palace complex, enjoy an in-depth English-language experience led by a knowledgeable guide. Discover how emperors governed, lived and performed elaborate court rituals within the world's largest surviving imperial palace complex. Your admission also includes the Treasure Gallery, home to imperial jewelry, ceremonial objects, precious artworks and important items from the royal collection. After the Forbidden City, continue by private vehicle toward Mutianyu Great Wall. Relax during the drive and enjoy an included Chinese lunch before or after your Wall visit, depending on timing and local conditions. At Mutianyu, use the included round-trip cable car to reach the Wall comfortably. This allows you to save your energy for walking between the watchtowers, enjoying the mountain scenery and taking photographs rather than spending most of your time climbing the access path. You will not simply be dropped off at the entrance. Every option includes personal accompaniment during the Great Wall visit. The level of historical explanation varies according to the option selected, but assistance with the route, timing and overall experience is always provided. Three private service levels are available. Smaller groups may choose an English-speaking driver host or upgrade to a professional English-speaking guide. • Please wait in your hotel lobby at the confirmed pickup time. Our driver or guide will arrive in advance and wait for you. Due to Beijing traffic conditions, the pickup time may vary by up to 30 minutes. The Mutianyu Great Wall cable car is included. If the cable car service is unavailable due to weather, maintenance or operational reasons, the cable car fee will be refunded. Please bring the original passport used for booking. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the activity involves walking and stairs.
