Description
Head to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic and well-preserved sections near Beijing. Set among lush mountains and dotted with impressive watchtowers, it’s a favorite for travelers looking for iconic Great Wall views in a more relaxed, family-friendly setting.
Once inside the scenic area, take the internal shuttle to the Wall and begin your exploration along restored paths and panoramic viewpoints. Mutianyu offers a comfortable way to experience the Wall—whether you prefer a gentle walk to photo stops or a longer hike between towers.
To make the most of your visit, choose an ascent and descent that suits your pace. You can enjoy sweeping views from above with a cable car ride, or add an extra thrill with the chairlift and toboggan combination—an unforgettable way to finish your time on the Wall.
