By booking your tickets in advance, we can secure your preferred entry time and guarantee admission even during peak seasons. This gives you greater flexibility to plan your day and enjoy a relaxed, hassle-free visit to this iconic landmark. We offer flexible options for admission ticket booking or guided services to suit visitors with different needs.
Should you book the guided tour package, your dedicated guide will escort you to the Forbidden City’s landmark attractions, share intriguing imperial anecdotes, and showcase iconic sites for a leisurely sightseeing experience. Afterwards, you will travel by taxi to Yuxiandu, renowned for authentic imperial feasts and live traditional cultural shows. Your guide will pre-reserve fifth-row seats for the performance. Once you are seated, the guide’s service terminates and they will depart.
For ticket-only bookings, no guide accompaniment is included; guests are responsible for self-organizing their entire visit independently.

Important Information
- This ticket‑only option does not include a guide service, therefore there is no meeting point. The ticket is booked under your passport, and your original passport is the only valid document for entry to the Forbidden City. No physical ticket or QR‑code is required;
- Forbidden City Entry Time Slots: Morning: 08:30-12:00/ Afternoon: 11:00-16:00 (November – March 11:00 – 15:30): They are time windows, not fixed exact times. You may enter at any moment within your booked slot;
- Booking with Chinese passport or ID card is unacceptable;
- Confirmation will be sent to you 5-6 days before your visit date. Please check your email or GYG message;
- Security queues for Tiananmen Square usually last over 1 hour. If you’re heading to the Forbidden City next, arrive early so you won’t miss your entry time;
- Tiananmen Square is free to enter, but you must reserve one day ahead. Our reservation-only package includes only the booking service, no ticket charges
