Highlights of This Experience Hutong Bun-Making Experience Step into a local Beijing hutong and learn how to make handmade bun from scratch in a relaxed, home-style setting. Daily “Mystery Filling” Surprise Each day features different baozi fillings, like a Chinese food blind box. Guests won’t know exactly what they’ll make until they arrive, which makes the experience more fun and memorable. ‍ Hands-on from Dough to Steaming Basket Guests will learn about the dough, fillings, wrapping techniques, and steaming process, then make their own baozi by hand. Creative Filling Mix & Match Each guest makes 9 baozi and can freely combine fillings. They can also add fresh vegetables for their own creative version. Tea Break & Local Chat While the baozi are steaming, guests can relax with tea, chat with the host, and learn more about Beijing food culture. Eat Fresh from the Steamer The best part: open the bamboo steamer, taste 1–2 freshly steamed baozi on site, and take the rest away.
