Beijing tour guide will pick you up at 8AM in the lobby of your downtown Beijing hotel with your guest name tag, and then proceed to the former residence of Wooliand, who, in the 1910 Northeast Great Plague, went deep into the infected area to investigate the epidemic, put forward effective quarantine measures, and implemented strict isolation measures under extreme conditions, effectively controlling the spread of the epidemic. He first raised the importance of droplet infection and promoted the implementation of cremation in China. He was also actively involved in the study of cholera and participated in the prevention and control of several cholera pandemics. Wooliand made outstanding contributions to epidemic prevention, quarantine, medical education and hospital management. Afterwards the Drum Tower Bell Tower was briefly photographed. Afterwards, proceed to Summer Palace, the Royal Garden of China during the Qing Dynasty, formerly known as the Garden of Clear Ripples, which was built as a large natural landscape garden using Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as its base, modelled on the scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou, and drawing on some of the design techniques and moods of the gardens of the south of the Yangtze River.
