The driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel, arrange your ticket which includes the entrance fee and round trip cable car ride. You will receive a QR code ticket to enter Gubei Watertown and take cable car. Once you arrive, you will have the freedom to explore the town and Simatai Great Wall on your own. After your self-guided tour is finished, the driver will meet you again and take you back to your hotel. Here is the guided tour itinerary: Meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby at prearrange time. Then heading directly to Simatai Great Wall ( 2 hours ), your tour guide will explain the related history and stories, you will also enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery . Once arrive, you will first take a golf car to the foot of the mountain and take a cable car to reach the top of the Simatai Great Wall. There are 10 watch towers opened to the public at night, follow your tour guide to hike up and down to get a different Great Wall experience. You will also enjoy beautiful overlook of the entire Gubei Water Town. After descend by cable car, stroll around the Gubei Water Town to discover the charm. Gubei Water Town is a replica of Wuzhen Water Town in the Southern China. There are 6 areas in Gubei Water Town including Old Barracks Area, Minguo Street Area, Water Street Area, Wonglong, and etc. Explore different shops, tasty the food, and shop for your China gifts there. After a delicious dinner, this fantastic tour will end by driving you back to your hotel in Beijing.
