Description
Hutongs are the narrow alleys or lanes, typically lined with traditional courtyard residences known as siheyuan, where different generations lived for centuries. Most of the courtyard residences are well preserved but changed greatly as dynasties changed, offering a glimpse into the city's historical architecture and way of life. These ancient, maze-like neighborhoods form a unique part of Beijing's cultural landscape, showcasing a traditional urban lifestyle that dates back centuries.

Duration: 3-3.5 hours
Itinerary:
✅Meet your guide at the Exit A2 of Guloudajie of Line 2.
✅ Exploring the local vegetable market
✅ Climb Drum Tower telling you about the history and interesting stories of the Hutongs.
✅Explore the most famous Hutongs: Yandai byway hutong, here you will see many souvenir stores, bubble tea shops, snack stores, etc.
✅ Shichahai lakes and Yongdingmen Bridge: many bars and cafes located beside the beautiful lakes.
✅Nanluoguxiang Hutong: walk through the Hutongs passing by the old temples and beautiful waters to reach the last stop “ Nanluoguxiang”. You will find more interesting souvenirs stores and snack stores here.
✅The tour finishes at the Nanluoguxiang Subway station
