How the experience works
Ticket options let you go to Mutianyu independently using the official ticket information sent after booking. Day bus options depart from a meeting point in Beijing, then give you around 4 hours of free time at the Wall; the guide gives instructions on the bus but does not accompany the climb. The night option runs during official seasonal opening dates, with entry from 17:30 to 20:30, a performance around 19:30, and closing around 21:00.
Who it suits best
This product is a good fit for budget-conscious travelers, independent visitors, and guests who want to choose between self-guided entry and bus transport. It is not ideal for travelers expecting hotel pickup, private transport, a private guide, or a guide who climbs the Wall with them. Guests with serious mobility limitations should note that Mutianyu includes steps, slopes, and walking.
