Description

Note: Please book this tour at least 8 days in advance as government policy restricts the number of people entering the Forbidden City per day, if we are unable to book tickets to the Forbidden City, we will visit Jingshan Park as an alternative. If you disembark at Beijing Daxing Airport or other railway stations, please take a taxi or underground to meet your guide at the Crowne Plaza Beijing International Airport or the Starbucks Coffee Shop near the International Exit B of the Capital Airport. Please provide your arrival/departure flight number, mobile phone number, passport name, date of birth and passport number at the time of booking as this information is required to purchase your ticket; local partners will not be able to complete the booking if passport information is not provided so please bring your own passport on the day of the tour. According to your flight information, your tour guide will pick you up with your guest name tag at 7:40 am at the Starbucks Coffee Shop near Exit B of the Capital Airport (or your hotel in downtown Beijing), and then drive you from the Beijing Airport directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall (about 1 hour's drive) - one of the most wonderful and unforgettable sections of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival at the Great Wall at Mutianyu, you can take the most popular cable car or toboggan ride to the Great Wall. After a 1-hour Great Wall hike, you will return to the city to visit the Forbidden City, a royal palace of China during the Ming and Qing dynasties, formerly known as the Forbidden City, located in the centre of Beijing's central axis. The Forbidden City covers an area of about 720,000 square metres, centred on the Three Great Halls, after which you will enjoy an interesting tea ceremony at a teahouse with the usual four types of high quality Chinese teas, and finally visit the Tiananmen Square and the Silk Museum, the neatly symmetrical, majestic and grandiose Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city-centre square, before returning to the airport. This private tour is customised just for you and your group and will not be joined by other tourists. Tour duration is approximately 9 hours (from airport pick-up to transfer back to the airport)
