The self-guided option includes one-time entry to Lama Temple on your selected date, with entry available between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You can explore at your own pace and use the English PDF guidebook and online audio guide during your visit.
The full-day group tour begins at 9:00 AM at Subway Line 5, Tiantandongmen Station, Exit A2. After visiting the Temple of Heaven, continue by vehicle to Lama Temple, then enjoy a Peking duck lunch before heading to the Summer Palace. The tour ends around 5:30 PM near the East Palace Gate or North Palace Gate subway area.
The half-day group tour meets at 2:00 PM at the main entrance of Lama Temple. Visit the temple with an English-speaking guide, then continue with a guided walk through Wudaoying Hutong before the tour ends there.
The private tour follows the same Lama Temple and Wudaoying Hutong route, but with a private English-speaking guide. After the hutong walk, enjoy afternoon tea in Wudaoying Hutong before the experience ends.

The self-guided option requires the separately sent official ticket for entry; the GYG QR code cannot be used directly at the gate. The official ticket, English PDF guidebook, and audio guide link are sent in advance.
Guided options use fixed meeting times and meeting points, with pre-departure details sent before travel.
The full-day route and the half-day hutong route are large-group tours.
The private tour follows the same sightseeing route as the group hutong tour, with the main difference being the private guide and included afternoon tea.
