- 2.5 hours – Essential Great Wall: Enter at Mid Gate, hike from Brick Crenel to Shalingkou, then return via the tourist path

- 4.5 hours – Must-sees of the Great Wall: Enter at Mid Gate, hike to East Five-windows Tower, then take shuttle bus back from East Gate
