Your English-speaking guide and private car will pick you up at your preferred time in your hotel lobby. The trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall will take about 2.5 hours. While driving, your English-speaking guide will explain the history and stories of the Great Wall of China. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful Beijing countryside.
Once you arrive at the Jinshanling Great Wall, you will enjoy a less hurried tour with your guide. You can decide how far you want to hike and how long you want to spend at the Wall. Your tour guide will accompany you throughout and will be available to take photos of your group so that you have amazing shots from your day out at Jinshanling.
The Jinshanling Great Wall was first built in the sixth century during the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420–589). Along it are 67 watchtowers, all in different styles, at average intervals of 150 meters. Jinshanling is also relatively undeveloped for those looking for a more authentic Wall experience. Viewed from a distance, the Jinshanling Great Wall is like a giant dragon, curving its path over the mountain peaks whose line it follows.

1: Combine Jinshanling and Mutianyu Great Wall
After hotel pick up, your first stop is Mutianyu Great Wall, follow your tour guide to take the ski lift up to Wall, hike up and down for 1.5 hours to explore different towers, then enjoy the fun toboggan down to the ground
After lunch spend the afternoon at Jinshanling Great Wall. This tour will last about 9-11 hours.
2: Combine Jinshanling with Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall
After hotel pick up, you will visit Jinshanling Great Wall first, after 2 hours hiking, enjoy lunch in the local restaurant then explore the Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall in the late afternoon.
Built at the foot of Simatai Great Wall, Gubei Water Town used to be an important military site and attracted numerous literati and hosted more than 3 emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. Now it is becoming a popular resort for photographers and foodies. Stroll around Gubei Water Town with your tour guide and take the cable car to discover the charms of Simatai Great Wall.
