**Jingshan Park**: Located just north of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park offers one of the best panoramic views in Beijing. This historic imperial park was once part of the Forbidden City grounds, and its central hill, made from the earth dug out to create the city's ancient moat, is the highest point in the old city.
After a short hike to the top, visitors are rewarded with stunning views of the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, and the modern skyline of Beijing. The park is also home to beautiful peony gardens, traditional pavilions, and ancient trees. It's a peaceful spot to relax and soak in both nature and history, making it a perfect addition to any Beijing itinerary.
