(If you choose the night trip, you can depart from the hotel lobby at 14:10PM) At 7:25PM, your Beijing tour guide will pick you up at the Beijing Centre Hotel where you are staying, and then you will go directly to Gubei Water Town, which is located in Miyun District of Beijing, backed up by the Simatai Great Wall, and is 130 kilometres away from the downtown area of Beijing. Gubei Water Town is an ancient town with a long history and unique charm, which is famous for its ancient architecture, unique water system and strong cultural atmosphere. Here, you can take a boat trip on the ancient canal, admire the old buildings along the river, taste the local cuisine and feel the unique charm of the ancient town. Afterwards, you will visit the amazing Simatai Great Wall, which was built in the Ming Dynasty, more than 700 years ago. It was built during the Ming Dynasty as a defence against the invasion of nomads from the north. The Great Wall winds along the mountain ridge and is about 29 kilometres long, with several beacon towers and watchtowers. These beacon towers and watchtowers were important facilities for military defence in ancient times and were used to convey military information and monitor enemy situation, then enjoy a wonderful tea performance at the teahouse before returning to your hotel.
