The Beijing driver will pick you up at 7AM in the lobby of your hotel in downtown Beijing with your guest name tag, then pick up your car for about 2 hours and drive directly to the famous Buddhist resort in Beijing - Jietai Temple, which attracts many believers and tourists because of its rich Buddhist cultural connotations. The temple preserves a large number of Buddha statues, scriptures and cultural relics, the most famous of which is the bronze casting of the Thousand-Handed Guanyin statue from the Ming Dynasty. This statue is more than 30 meters high and consists of thousands of cast bronze arms, each with a palm in a different and lifelike form. This statue is not only a work of art, but also a symbol of Buddhist faith. Afterwards, drive 20 minutes to Tanzhe Temple, which is one of the oldest ancient temples in Beijing with a history of more than 1700 years. There is a folk proverb that says “Tanzhe Temple came first, then Beijing City”, which shows its important position in the history of Beijing. The architectural style of Tanzhe Temple is unique, and the temple is built according to the terrain in a staggered manner. The whole complex fully embodies the aesthetic principles of ancient Chinese architecture, with a central axis running through the center, and the left and right sides are basically symmetrical, with distinct levels and symmetrical beauty. The natural landscape of Tanzhe Temple is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, ancient trees and pleasant scenery. Especially in the fall, the mountains are full of red leaves and golden ginkgo leaves, which are beautiful. The temple is backed by Baozhu Peak, surrounded by nine tall peaks, and the climate is warm and humid, making it a good place to visit and escape the summer heat. Afterwards, enjoy an interesting tea ceremoney at a teahouse or silk museum in downtown Beijing before returning to your hotel.
