Description
Our Classic Tour is perfect for getting a first impression of the city. We will meet you at your hotel and start exploring in central Beijing. We will head north along the axis to two important landmark buildings, the Drum and Bell Towers. Then we will ride into the small alleyways of the hutongs, where you can experience local life and get close to daily life in Beijing. After that, we will go to the southern area of the city and pass the White Pagoda, a valuable memento of the Nanjing City from the Liao Dynasty that is over 900 years old. It is the oldest above-ground building preserved in Beijing. Then we will taste local food with special coffee or tea and head to the southern point of the central axis, Yongding Gate. We will then arrive at the Site of Ming City Wall Park, the only remaining section of the old city wall. From here, we will return to your hotel or drop you off somewhere else you would like to go.
This tour is packed with historical facts and photo opportunities for the ultimate Beijing experience. We will make plenty of photo stops and walk into a few temples or alleys to relax.
