Description
Meet your guide and driver at your hotel lobby in downtown Beijing. Board the air-conditioned vehicle and start your day trip with a brief introduction from your guide.
Travel by car to Huanghuacheng Great Wall, about 1.5 hours away from downtown Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is known for its unique water landscape, different from other arid Great Wall sections in Beijing. Stroll along the ancient Great Wall, taking stunning photos of the Great Wall winding through mountains and reflecting on the lake.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, continue to the Ming Tombs, about 1.5 hours away from the Great Wall. Choose from three options to visit.
One is Sacred Way, a 7-kilometer sacred road, admiring 18 pairs of vivid stone statues (stone animals and human figures) that guard the mausoleum. Another is Changling, the mausoleum of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. It is the largest existing nanmu wood hall in China. The last one is Dingling, the only excavated underground palace of the Ming Dynasty, 27 meters underground.
Discuss with your guide which one you prefer to visit and explore one of them.
