Description

Discover Beijing’s local motorsport culture at the Wenyu River International Karting Circuit. Located inside Wenyu River Park, this outdoor Grade 1A track stretches 1,166 meters and combines a 166-meter straight with 18 technical corners. Meet your English- and Chinese-speaking host, a karting enthusiast with experience participating in races. Your host will assist with check-in, explain how the activity works, communicate with the circuit staff, and introduce you to Beijing’s growing karting community. Change into a racing suit and prepare with the safety equipment provided for the session. Circuit staff will deliver the mandatory safety briefing and remain responsible for all track operations. Your host can translate and clarify the rules, then introduce beginner-friendly fundamentals including seating position, steering, braking, track flags, racing etiquette, racing lines, corner entry, apex selection, and corner exit. Take part in three karting sessions, each lasting eight minutes. Use the first session to become familiar with the kart and circuit. During the following sessions, apply what you have learned to improve your confidence, control, consistency, and lap performance. Between sessions, discuss your driving with your host and receive practical suggestions for your next run. Your host will also help take photos of you in your racing suit and around designated trackside areas using your phone, giving you a memorable record of your karting experience in Beijing. The complete experience normally lasts between one and two hours. Drivers are divided into different heats, so there may be some waiting time between sessions depending on the number of participants and the circuit’s operating schedule. The booking includes all three karting sessions, use of a racing suit and required safety equipment, the official safety briefing, basic driving guidance, English-language assistance, check-in support, and help taking photos. Participants must meet the circuit’s current age, height, footwear, and health requirements and follow all instructions from the circuit staff. Travelers can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. No-shows are non-refundable. If the activity is canceled, rescheduled, or significantly changed due to weather, safety conditions, venue operations, private events, or other operational reasons, travelers may choose a full refund or reschedule to another available date or time.
