Day 1 — Imperial Beijing & Hutong Life
Meet your friendly guide at 9:00 in your hotel lobby. Tour Tiananmen Square, then spend about 2 hours in the 600-year-old Forbidden City (UNESCO, imperial halls & garden). Enjoy an authentic Hutong lunch, then explore the Back Lakes (Xihai/Houhai/Qianhai) on foot. Finish at the Lama Temple (well-preserved lamasery with a massive sandalwood Buddha) and return to your hotel.
Day 2 — Mutianyu Great Wall & Ming Tombs
Meet your guide and driver in your hotel lobby. Visit Mutianyu Great Wall (about 2-hour hike with round‑trip cable car ), then Ming Tombs (Changling) and the Sacred Way with stone animal statues. Return to your hotel.
Day 3— Local Life, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace
Meet your guide in your hotel lobby. Morning visit to Temple of Heaven—watch locals doing tai chi and stroll the park. After a Beijing-style lunch, explore the Summer Palace: Long Corridor, Kunming Lake, Hall of Benevolence & Longevity, and climb the Tower of Buddhist Incense for lake views. Return to your hotel.
