Day 1 blends imperial legacy, folk charm and spiritual serenity, revealing the real Beijing.
Chapter 1: The Forbidden City – Imperial Secrets Uncovered (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Hotel pickup by our bilingual storyteller guide, followed by a Tiananmen photo stop. Skip lines to enter the Forbidden City (home to 24 emperors for 600 years), where your guide shares untold imperial tales amid red walls and golden roofs.
Chapter 2: Authentic Beijing Flavors – A Taste of History (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
One Beijing lunch at a local, non-tourist restaurant. Your guide shares stories behind the dishes, linking flavor to culture.
Chapter 3: Folk Alleys, Art & Divine Serenity (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Escape to hidden hutongs and our exclusive North Style Teahouse: sip flower tea, taste pastries, and enjoy folk arts (Peking Opera, Lantern Drum, etc.) with hutong stories from your guide.
Next, visit Yonghegong (Lama Temple), a Tibetan Buddhist masterpiece blending multiple cultures. Feel its spiritual peace.
End at UNESCO-listed Temple of Heaven, where emperors prayed for harvests. Your guide explains how its architecture reflects Chinese harmony.
Return to Hotel:Transfer back to your hotel to end Day 1.
Day 2: Imperial Gardens & Great Wall – Conquer Beijing’s Wonders
Day 2 takes you to two iconic wonders: the serene Summer Palace and the majestic Mutianyu Great Wall—balance of serenity and adventure.
Chapter 1: Summer Palace – Emperor’s Paradise (8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Hotel pickup, then head to China’s largest imperial garden. Walk its corridors, bridges and lake; your guide shares imperial stories and its harmony-with-nature design.
Chapter 2: Recharge for the Great Wall (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
Hearty local lunch near the Great Wall. Your guide shares Great Wall history and myths to build anticipation.
Chapter 3: Mutianyu Great Wall – Conquer the “Dragon’s Backbone” (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

- Group Size: Two guests (infants excluded) minimum to form a group. Prices decrease as the number of participants increases.This is a private tour. Only your group will participate.
Itinerary Adjustment: Admission to The Palace Museum (The Forbidden City) requires real-name reservation 7 days in advance, and tickets often sell out quickly. We will prioritize booking on your behalf. If tickets are unavailable or the site is closed on Mondays or major national holidays, we will adjust the visiting order of the 2-day itinerary. If no tickets are available for both of your selected tour dates, we will contact you via email to reschedule your tour to the nearest available date, or you may apply for a full refund.
